LegalAIPay ("we", "us") publishes browser-based legal and compliance tools. We are designed to minimize the personal data we collect. This Privacy Policy explains what we do and do not collect when you visit legalaipay.com.
1. What stays in your browser
The PIPIA tool, Privacy Policy Generator, and Contract Review workspace process your inputs entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript. Assessment answers, contract text, generated drafts, and any API key you choose to enter are stored only in your browser's localStorage or sessionStorage on your device. They are not transmitted to LegalAIPay servers.
2. What we receive automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL — for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic statistics. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
3. Cookies and analytics
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will update this page and disclose the provider and the data they receive.
4. Third-party model providers (Contract Review)
If you opt into the Contract Review workspace's "Direct call" mode and supply your own API key, your contract text and prompt are sent directly from your browser to the model vendor you chose (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) under their privacy terms. LegalAIPay does not receive, store, or proxy those requests.
5. Children
LegalAIPay is intended for legal and compliance professionals. The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
6. Your choices
You can clear any data the tools have stored in your browser at any time by using the "Clear local data" button on the tool page, or by clearing site data in your browser settings.
